Installation of interconnected alarms: $99 per alarm installed
If you are unsure about the type and connectivity of the smoke alarms in your property, we strongly recommend using our Sellers Compliance Service. This service allows us to assess your property and, if necessary, install the required number and type of smoke alarms. This service ensures that your property becomes fully compliant for sale and removes the hassle of future visits for additional installation work.
Should our assessment confirm that your property is already compliant with relevant legislation during our visit, we will promptly refund your payment, minus a $100 inspection fee. This fee allows us to verify compliance and guarantees the proper functioning of all installed smoke alarms. You will also receive a Compliance Report following our visit for enhanced peace of mind.
N.B For interconnected smoke alarms to operate correctly, including simultaneous activation when one alarm is triggered, it is imperative that all installed alarms are compatible and manufactured by the same company. If our inspection reveals alarms from different brands are installed, we will promptly replace them all with our reliable Emerald Alarms. This ensures both compliance with regulations and the preservation of your warranty.

This service allows us to assess your property and, if necessary, install the required number and type of smoke alarms to meet QLD 2022 legislation for rental properties.
Should our initial inspection confirm that your property is already compliant with relevant legislation, we will promptly refund your payment, minus a $129 fee. This $129 fee allows us to verify compliance and guarantees the proper functioning of all installed smoke alarms. It also provides additional service visits throughout the year to meet ongoing maintenance requirements at each lease renewal or change and provides access to our 24/7 Emergency Service. You will also receive a Compliance Report following each visit for enhanced peace of mind.
